Managed service providers (MSPs) can enrich their network management proficiency by becoming an Auvik Certified Professional.
Auvik Networks, a provider of network monitoring and management software for managed service providers (MSPs), is launching a certification program to help MSP teams enrich their network management proficiency and formalize their knowledge of Auvik.
When MSP employees successfully complete the program, they become an Auvik Certified Professional (ACP). The designation will certify they have the expertise to successfully deploy Auvik on a client site, use the collector to automatically discover and map client networks, secure client credentials, proactively monitor network activity, and automate network management tasks like network device configuration backups and restorations. ACPs will receive a formal certificate, as well as downloadable badges to attach to marketing collateral, email signatures, and LinkedIn profiles.
“With the shift to the cloud, the network is vital as it connects businesses to everything they need to operate,” said Alex Hoff, Auvik’s VP of product and sales. “By becoming an Auvik Certified Professional and using Auvik for monitoring and managing network infrastructure, MSPs can improve their managed network service delivery and ensure access to important systems and data.”
Becoming Auvik certified by Aug. 30, 2018 automatically enters ACPs into the Auv-toberfest 2018 contest. The grand prize winner will receive a free trip to the biggest Oktoberfest outside Germany—including free flights, accommodation, meals, and entertainment for two people.
“More and more, clients are expecting MSPs to manage the whole network from end to end. Without these critical skills, MSPs expose themselves and their clients to network risk,” said Hoff.
The announcement of Auvik’s certification program coincides with ConnectWise Automation Nation, where MSPs have the chance to meet the team and participate in a hands-on Auvik lab. The Auvik team can be found at booth #406, and will be hosting a hands-on lab session Jun. 19 at 2 p.m. in the Jackson room.
