Connected World Announces IoT Innovations Award Winners for 2019

The innovations represent this year’s best products for the fast-paced, ever-changing IoT (Internet of Things) market.

The Connected World IoT Innovations Awards recognize some of the most transformative innovations to hit the market, looking at what makes the technology unique, what type of solution the product is, how the company worked with others on the innovation, and more.

Developers submit nominations and the Connected World editorial judges evaluate the entries on a number of criteria including creativity of innovation, market competition, partners, go-to market strategy, price point, the need in the market, how it addresses a painpoint, among other key characteristic unique to each application. Outside industry experts are also consulted with and do follow up with the candidates throughout the research process.

“Central to innovation is change—and the pace of change is only continuing to pick up,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Connected World and president Speciatly Publishing Media. “Today, change and innovation are critical to evolving the way industries operate. The Connected World IoT Innovations for 2019 bring to the forefront the leading technology in the market today.”

  • Cel-Fi GO by Nextivity
  • CT 3000 Series by ORBCOMM
